On this episode of Hyphy Soul the show started off with a segment from DJ Gravy. Next, we had hot tracks by DJ PureGold. Malyka talked about the death of the Jacka and Arianna spoke about the Middle Easterns hopefully being apart of the Census and the drought here in California. Emma shared information about her ethnicity. Symone and Isaiah did a PSA about the youth organization Youth Spirit Artworks. Then we had some great music by DJ Escarlata. James gave a commentary on divorce. Hilda told her story of appreciating her African heritage. Finally, a plethora of diverse music from DJ Billy Apples.
Justin gave a review about X Park. Zil gave a roundtable discussion about a later start time for school to get more rest. Angel and Ashly gave some insight on society.
Youth Radio Raw is a weekly radio show produced by Bay Area youth ages 14-18. Students work in partnership with adult professionals to learn the basics of journalism, music production and multimedia.
