Today was the third show of Friday Groove Radio. Kicking off the show we had DJ Band$ and he played his alternative Hip-Hop/Rnb, which was followed by the news, announced by Syy who talked about McDonalds workers, and Leo also bought us a resort on where the Aaron Hernandez case has brought him. PSA on the Youth Radio crisis line by Adriana and Feven. For our second DJ we had DJ AZ playing dope remixes, following there was a review by Kiajai who talked about a new action film named Fast and the Furious 7, and Nila talked about loving life. Now we have our PSA by Marco who talked about video games .Last but certainly not least we have our third DJ, DJ Aster with her hot R&b songs. Followed by a short commentary by Nick on personal experiences with his family. After, we had round table by Ramona on a important issue on intersectional feminism and forms of racism. A great ending to friday night and more come, stay tuned.
Youth Radio Raw is a weekly radio show produced by Bay Area youth, ages 14-18. Students work in partnership with adult professionals to learn the basics of journalism, music production, and multimedia.
