Today on Voluptuous Volume Radio we had our fifth of the new session! DJ Natcat, DJ AJ, and DJ Queen Katlin played songs from their personally customized playlists. Then there was a PSA done by Jalon and Dale about the dangers of texting while driving. The newscast was by Milan, Darnesha, and Kenyah. It was about Justin Bieber having an altercation with Orlando Bloom. Ihlari’s roundtable was all about weaves. The second roundtable done by Joseph was based on the topic of shoes, specifically Nike and Jordans. Alondra and Alona’s PSA was about a public service called Planned ParentHood where teens can get tested for pregnancy and get protection against pregnancy.
Youth Radio Raw is a weekly radio show produced by Bay Area youth ages 14-18. Students work in partnership with adult professionals to learn the basics of journalism, music production and multimedia.
