Signs and protesters blocked escalators at the #sfoprotest on Sunday (see image above). “Our Intention is not to screw over individual passengers,” said demonstrator Evan Minto, 26. “Our goal is to shut down the airport.”
“We’re trying to get our voices heard,” said Ali Hussain, 16. “People from all different cultures are supporting us,” said Yousif Saeed, 16.
Mariza Halim & Charlene Solis, both 24. hold a protest sign at SFO on Sunday night. “I’m here because of love, to support my brothers and sisters,” Mariza Halim, “to fight for what’s right.”
A Terminal kiosk at SFO was plastered with signs on Sunday night. Nearby, supporters left piles of cookies, bananas, crackers for protesters who were planning to stay the night.
