First Lady Melania Trump started out this week’s political smack down by not-so-subtly swatting her husband’s hand during the ceremony kicking off the couple’s visit to Israel. The President met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara.

Republican nominee body slams reporter — wins Montana election anyway.


Things got aggro in Montana on the eve of a special election when Republican nominee Greg Gianforte “body slammed” a reporter after he asked him a question about health care. Gianforte was charged with misdemeanor assault. Montana voters elected him anyway

President Trump met with Pope Francis in Rome on Wednesday.


The Pope demonstrated his expertise in passive-aggressive gift-giving by presenting Donald Trump with an essay he wrote about the importance of the environment.

Jared Kushner a person of interest in FBI’s Russia investigation

Donald Trump’s son-in-law and top White House adviser, Jared Kushner, is officially a person of interest in the FBI’s investigation of Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election. In December, Kushner met with a Russian diplomat and a banker. He has not been accused of any wrongdoing.

President Trump is all diva during meeting with NATO allies

President Trump’s NATO antics included a tense, white-knuckled handshake with newly elected French President Emmanuel Macron, pushing other leaders aside in preparation for the official photograph, and lecturing allies about not paying their fair share during a building dedication.

Trump administration’s new budget includes $2 trillion error, cuts to Planned Parenthood and federal student loans

The Trump administration released their first detailed budget proposal this week. And let’s just say, there are some issues. For one thing, it contains a $2 trillion accounting error (whoops). It also cuts Federal student loan programs and funding for Planned Parenthood.

Trump’s travel ban falls short (again)

A federal court of appeals voted 10 to 3 not to reinstate President Trump’s revised travel ban based largely on anti-Muslim comments then-candidate Trump made on the campaign trail. The vote was split along ideological lines. In its ruling, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, in Richmond, Va. stated that the revised ban “speaks with vague words of national security, but in context drips with religious intolerance, animus and discrimination.”

Hillary Clinton bashes Trump, praises wine in graduation speech

Hillary Clinton landed some sharp jabs against President Trump during a commencement speech at her alma mater, Wellesley College. She compared Trump to former President Nixon, who came close to being impeached due to obstruction of justice allegations, and later resigned. Other topics that came up: fake news, the popular vote, and long walks in the woods, which she said helped her cope with her loss of the Presidential election.”Chardonnay helped a little too,” she added.
