Today was the fourth show of Friday Groove Radio. Kicking off the show we had DJ Mad playing a nice set of mixed rap and R&B, followed by the news provided by Ben, Alejandra, and K’micah. Shortly afterward, Nila gave us her PSA .For our second DJ we had DJ Pharaoh who gave us a J. Cole mini-marathon. Following there was a review by Dominic and a commentary by Nila. Lastly, we have DJ Garry P who ended the night with his smooth hip-hop. Grace gave us tonight’s round table, discussing violence and the justification of it. Ramona and Jade ended our night with their great PSA. Tune in next week for more!
Youth Radio Raw is a weekly radio show produced by Bay Area youth, ages 14-18. Students work in partnership with adult professionals to learn the basics of journalism, music production, and multimedia.
