Being someone who loves burritos, I would have to say that my favorite place to go to get a steak burrito is Happy Burrito 1 on Webster St. in Oakland. Not only does this place provide excellent customer service, they also have an amazing menu with unbeatable prices. I usually purchase “The Happy Burrito”. This burrito includes sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, tomatoes and my choice of chicken, steak, beef or pork for just $6 including tax. If you’re a vegetarian, they also have a no meat burrito for under $4. Of course, they have much more on their menu than just burritos. They have enchiladas, tacos, nachos and quesadillas for very affordable prices. However, I’ve only tried their burritos, because they’re unbelievably delicious. It’s not like your typical Chipotle or taco truck burrito. Their burritos are always made right in front of you and they’re always consistently fresh and tasty. They also have their own hot sauce, which adds just the right amount of spiciness that is perfect for burritos. I guarantee that you will not regret on the money that will be spent. And, if you’re like me, you’ll definitely want to go back. There is no doubt that there may be other comparable burrito restaurants, but for the price and closeness of the location, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for an affordable, but good place to eat.
