Since 1990, the city of Oakland has used 74 million dollars to settle about 400 lawsuits. According to Oakland Police Beat, brutality, misconduct, and other civil rights violations have been the reasons associated with these lawsuits.
With all the negative viewpoints on cops, I felt that it was right to interview a police officer for comparison I interviewed Mike Bradley, a police officer that is currently assigned to patrol in Pleasanton and a military veteran. I asked him why he had wanted to be a police officer in the first place.
