One of the most talked about and viral phenomena kickstarting 2014 is none other then “Flappy Bird.” This app has had a lot of people hooked on it, even the creator himself. The creator, Dong Nguyen, apparently deleted it from the app store because he was addicted to it. According to “Rolling Stone,” Nintendo sued him because of his copyrighted background use of the Super Mario theme. Before this incident, Dong Nguyen was making up to $50,000 a day from this app by letting companies advertise on it. I went around the streets of Downtown Oakland to get a few opinions on the game Flappy Bird and what some people had to say about it. Lets take a listen.
