Recently Derrick Rose was traded to The Knicks and it looks like it’s going to be a good situation for everyone involved.

Derrick Rose has recently been labeled as a “Dying Rose” as his average points per game have dropped. Over the years he moved from being a superstar MVP to a role player. But recently getting traded looks like he’s going to bloom again. I really hope its works out for him because once when I was counted out it made me a believer once I got that 2nd chance I never looked back.

From 2010-2012 he averaged about 25 points per game now after having a lot of injuries, most importantly A knee injury. His reg season dropped to about 15 points per game. But now he in a way better position  to succeed playing alongside Carmelo, Joakim Noah,Courtney Lee, and Brandon Jennings. The best recipe for a big season from a talented athlete is: motivation, health and platform. Barring an off-season injury, Derrick Rose will have all three during the 2016-17 campaign.

Derrick rose will have Motivation because this is a chance for him to redeem himself after leaving the bulls where basically everybody was doubting him. Another reason he will have a good season is because he is finally healthy which is very important. And last but not least he is in the big apple nobody can tell me there’s not a better platform for a player trying redeem himself.

Derrick rose is one of my favorite players. And probably one of the best of all time especially if he able to have one of his best season this year. That’s why all of this very important to me because this year can get him ranked top 20 of all time.
